Apparently that’s how Whitney Houston feels about getting back together with ex-husband Bobby Brown, nixing reports earlier in the week that said they were going to do just that.

 

This weekend Houston issued a statement denying the rumors of a reunion with Bobby Brown calling the reports “a complete fabrication.”

 

Why would she issue a statement in the first place?  I heard that Lil’ Ray-J got jealous.

 

 

 

Beyonce’s new double-disc "I Am … Sasha Fierce" has entered the Billboard 200 this week at No. 1, shifting a healthy 482,000 copies in the United States.

 

The album was fueled by singles "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies".  This album sales were higher than the 317,000 first week sales of her 2003 solo debut, "Dangerously in Love," but lower than 2006’s "B-Day," which moved 541,000 in its initial week.

 

I finally finished listening to my bootleg copy and I must admit…it’s a winner.

 

 

 

 

Authorities in California are investigating the role of Donda West’s 46-year-old nephew in her death last year following plastic surgery.

 

Stephan Scoggins, a registered nurse, was supposed to be supervising West’s post-surgery care along with West’s assistant and a friend. But, a source familiar with the situation told People.com that Scoggins left the house to attend a baby shower the day after West underwent breast reduction and liposuction last Nov. 10. West died that evening at a Los Angeles hospital.

 

The source also says investigators are looking into the possibility that Scoggins administered too much Vicodin in a short period of time.

The collective bank account of Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce is bigger than any other celebrity couple in the entertainment industry, according to Forbes magazine.

 

The couple earned a total of $162 million between June 1, 2007 and June 1, 2008, while second-place finishers Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, pulled $85 million in the same time frame.

 

I guess they won’t be getting the Obama tax cut.     

 

 

 

Rapper/producer John Forte, who produced the Fugees before being sent to prison on drug charges, had his sentence commuted Monday by President Bush.

 

Forte was arrested at Newark International Airport in 2000 for possession with intent to distribute cocaine and conspiracy to distribute. Police discovered Forte with two briefcases filled with liquid cocaine, estimated worth $1.4 million.

 

He was sentenced to 14 years and will now be released December 22 after serving just over seven years.

It’s going to take $100 million for retired boxer Lennox Lewis to step back into the ring again.

 

Lewis said on Sunday he would be tempted to return only if he was offered the $100 million sum, and nothing less.

One day after going winless at the American Music Awards, Lil Wayne announced plans to hit the road again to support his double-platinum album, “Tha Carter III.”

 

I’m not the biggest Wayne supporter, but I can’t believe he didn’t win anything.  He should have at least gotten the prestigious…funniest lookin’ rapper award.

Emerging from the 1980’s, the Fat Boys have reunited to champion what they’ve dubbed the “Hip-Hop Old School Movement.”

 

The group originally began as a trio in 1982 featuring Prince Markie Dee, Kool Rock-Ski, and pioneering beatboxer the late Buffy AKA Buff Love.

 

Although Buffy passed away in 1995 from a massive heart attack, the two surviving member have decided to make a comeback.

Grammy winning singer Amy Winehouse has checked-in to England’s London Clinic due to an allergic reaction to medication.

 

The R&B superstar was taken to the hospital on Sunday after usage of some form of medical treatment reportedly resulted in illness, but no official word on when she will be discharged has been released yet.
