His Purpleness
In a recent article, Prince gave his take on the differences between Republicans and Democrats.
“You’ve got the Republicans, and basically they want to live according to this,” he said, pointing to a Bible. “But there’s the problem of interpretation, and you’ve got some churches, some people, basically doing things and saying it comes from here, but it doesn’t.
And then on the opposite end of the spectrum you’ve got blue, you’ve got the Democrats, and they’re, like, ‘You can do whatever you want.’ Gay marriage, whatever. But neither of them is right.”
For some reason I never envisioned Prince as a political-spiritual leader, but that’s just me.

On November 25, 2008 at 1:54 pmI think Prince just proved me wrong… all this time I thought men who wore heels, had their hair looking better than mine and rocked the tightest bell bottoms and tops had to be ***.
But I think he just hinted to the world, “I’m not ***.”
I admit the picture you have doesn’t help his plea…

On November 26, 2008 at 8:40 amThat explains his purple world! Prince is just a rambler that got lucky with a few musical hits. None of which I even like! So he thinks being *** is wrong and being straight is wrong… just to explain away that he likes both! He needs to make up his mind already and stop using the bible and the laws to explain away his own insecurities. What a whiner.
