Mariah Carey has hair panic
MARIAH CAREY’s Cannes Film Festival experience was almost ruined when she was abandoned by her hair stylist.
The singer jetted to France to attend the premiere of her new movie Precious last week and she almost had to trick her tresses herself when her hired help failed to show.
In a post on her Twitter.com page on Saturday morning, Carey wrote, "I’m still in Cannes with a whole day and night of press events ahead of me and the hairdresser has abandoned me!"
She was saved from disaster when a replacement stylist was sent to help her out – but she faced a nervous wait to see the results of her makeover when she discovered there was a language barrier.
The star added, "OK, so he got me someone else but he doesn’t speak English at all, so I’m hoping for the best… Whhhhhhyyyyyyy!"
The mix up prompted the pop diva to pull out of the start of a party to toast her new movie – she and husband Nick Cannon arrived over three hours late.
